High Breaking
Capacity
They comply with requirement of BS 88: Part 5: 1980 (including amendment No.2). To cater for increasing fault levels all fuse links have a rated breaking capacity of 80
KA.
Low temperature
Rise
The unique wedge tightening action of the 'J' type fuses coupled with low power dissipation fuse links gives on extremely reliable contact
arrangement.
Power dissipations substantially below the specified limits result not only in low temperature rises but also in savings through reduced on-load energy
losses.
Characteristics
When tested in accordance with the requirements of BS 88: PS Part 5 the fusing factor of the complete range falls into class Q1. Special care has been taken to ensure that the "watts losses" are contained within the latest specification requirements. Additional information such as time/current characteristics etc. can be supplied on
request.
